Green2Go powers its parent Equity Solutions & Partners, Green2Go’s parent company, was one of the first companies to benefit from Green2Go’s low carbon energy following the installation of a bio-fuel generator at the company’s headquarters in Stockport. Equity Solutions has gone to great lengths to ensure the company is as environmentally friendly as possible and Green2Go’s solution helped to meet this aim. The combined power and heat (CPH) plant is fuelled by a bio-mass fuel based 100% on a waste product which would have otherwise ended up in landfill and provides the full electric load for the building, enabling Equity Solutions to reduce the carbon emissions associated with its energy consumption by in excess of 70%. The generator is fully synchronised with the grid and any surplus power is automatically exported back to the grid. This not only delivers a source of revenue but allows for even greater offsetting of emissions.
