Air source heat pumps
Green2Go’s commitment to providing renewable and sustainable heat and power solutions means that we continually investigate new and innovative solutions. The most recent addition to our range is air source heat pumps.
Air source heat pumps work by absorbing heat from the outside air, which is then be used to heat the air inside a building or to heat water for radiators and underfloor heating systems.
The pumps are very energy efficient as 3-4 units heat are produced for every unit of electricity used to operate the pump.
This efficiency is further increased when the pump is powered by a Green2Go combined heat and power (CPH) generating system fuelled by a 100% sustainable bio-fuel manufactured from waste used cooking oil, which would otherwise be sent to landfill.
As well as the environmental benefits, installing an air source heat pump can also lead to significant cost savings when compared to traditional heating systems, particularly if the pump is powered by a Green2Go CPH generating system.
